Overview:
Hard surface "Procedural Coupling Rod" HDA, developed in Houdini using a fully procedural workflow that generates a customisable coupling rod from just two input points. The asset makes use of a custom parameter interface, providing extensive control over the model's proportions, shape, and overall form through non-destructive, parameter-driven modelling. The tool offers three unique coupling rod variations, each with its own dedicated set of procedural controls, as well as an optional text feature for adding custom lettering or markings directly onto the final model.
