Overview:
This NDA-signed project, supervised by Paulina Noches and completed with Anja Johansen and Natch Aroonpruksakul, focused on studying self-service technologies in Australian supermarkets and their impact on employees. The first phase involved industry-standard fieldwork and data collection. We then analysed and translated this data into virtual 3D models of key systems. The final phase explored speculative future scenarios through a VR experience used in a stakeholder workshop, allowing participants to engage with the concepts immersively and provide feedback for ongoing research development.
